As a third generation Jacksonville native Christy Hilpert knows Jacksonville’s diverse real estate market and the charming neighborhoods that make up this great city she calls home.
Christy has always been infatuated with real estate, from architecture to design. You could say that real estate is in her blood. Her father, John Barley, is a local architect. She has a sister that is a designer in New York City and another that worked for a local interior designer for years and is now obtaining her Degree in Engineering from the University of North Florida.
After a successful career in banking she was ready to follow her passion in Real Estate. She worked with her father and learned the Computer Automated Design (CAD) program to assist him in his business. Being around the office Christy quickly learned about the Florida Building Code, building procedures, and its many compliance issues. She became licensed and as they say, “the rest is history”.
Christy has valuable knowledge in every aspect of the home buying/building and selling process. She loves talking real estate and sharing her knowledge. She understands what a big decision buying a home is. “I believe that everyone deserves a place to call home and I want to help people find their dream home.”
Christy is a graduate of Episcopal School of Jacksonville and Salem College where she earned her Bachelor of Art Degrees in Communications and Art History. She lives in Ortega with her three children Emma, Walker, Barley and her rescue dog Charlotte. Christy is involved with HABIJAX, Rise Against Hunger and Family Promise. She enjoys exercising, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
